Mt Sterling Co-op Creamery is a member-owned and operated cooperative, incorporated under Wisconsin law in 1976 as the Southwestern Wisconsin Dairy Goat Products Cooperative. We market our products under the name of Mt Sterling Co-op Creamery. The owners of our traditional family-operated dairy goat farms, are united in their desire to produce high quality dairy goat products. That is why the RBGH hormone is not used by any producers in this co-op. The facilities of every producer located in our tri-state area, are inspected by each state’s Dept. of Agriculture. Our cheese factory is routinely inspected by the State of Wisconsin. Each time milk is picked up from a producer’s farm, it is sampled and tested for quality. All this is done to ensure that the products we sell are fresh, wholesome, and delicious.
Raw Milk Cheddar Cheeses
Raw Milk Cheddar Style Cheese
A mild cheese with a slightly nutty flavor, and a texture and body in the cheddar style. Aged a minimum of 60 days. 100% natural. No colorings or additives. RBGH free. Excellent for cooking, snacking or grating.
Raw Milk Sharp Cheddar Style Cheese
A traditional full-flavored sharp cheddar with a slight bite. No colorings or additives. Excellent for grating, sandwiches, and snacks.
Raw Milk Smoked Cheddar Style Cheese
Our award-winning raw milk mild cheddar is smoked to perfection for a flavorful, natural taste. Aged a minimum of 60 days, no colorings or additives are used in this cheese. The natural hardwood smoking process uses no aerosol or liquid smoke to enhance the flavor of this natural cheese!
Country Jack Cheeses
Our award-winning Country Jack Style, is a mild tasting, semi-soft cheese with excellent texture. Available in six flavors, there is a choice for every need.
Country Jack Style with Chives
The distinct flavor of chives, similar to onion, makes this cheese a vavoirte.
Country Jack Style with Jalapeno Peppers
This pepper flavored cheese is hot, but so good for snacking. A unique combination of flavors, makes this cheese excellent in grilled-cheese sandwiches.
Country Jack Style with Dill
Pairs well with the other Jack Style flavors on cheese plates.
